Interesting guy, his article made me feel a bit bad for being such a scoffer, and now I plan to try to see what I can do in his direction, as long as it doesn't have too high of a pricetag for my students.
I like the quote, I think it is true especially in science that we tend to lecture and then don't know what else to do so we do an experiment or to. I would love to teach in ways that are more integrated so students don't feel like we are lecturing to them all the time, but making the material real and useful.
